Coronavirus in Baden-Württemberg: seven-day incidence rises to almost 144 – Baden-Württemberg

The number of confirmed corona cases in Baden-Württemberg rose by 1125 on Monday to 389,433. 19 other people died from or with the corona virus.

Stuttgart – In Baden-Württemberg, the corona infection rate has continued to pick up. The so-called seven-day incidence was 143.7, as the State Health Office announced on Monday (as of 4 p.m.). On Sunday, the value of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants within 7 days was 139.5. The incidence was 134 on Saturday, 120.2 on Friday, and 109.3 on Thursday.

The number of confirmed cases rose by 1,125 to 389,433. 19 other people died from or with the corona virus, a total of 8,946 deaths. 346,855 people (plus 1,379) are considered to have recovered.

According to data from the Divi intensive care register (as of Monday 4 p.m.), 486 people suffering from Covid-19 are in intensive care in Baden-Württemberg, of which 284 are invasively ventilated. Of 2405 intensive care beds, 2098 are currently occupied (87.2 percent).

The threshold of the 100 incidence is still exceeded by 39 of the 44 urban and rural districts. The city district of Heilbronn (286.7) and the district of Schwäbisch Hall (271.4) have the highest values. It is lowest in Heidelberg at 61.9.
