Many experts agree that going out and being in nature can be crucial for both our physical and mental health. For some, the home is not a safe place and being able to get out of that environment is not only important, but essential.

But state and local officials have also warned that unless we follow proper health and safety protocols, they may have to take drastic action to reduce the risk of spread of covid-19, especially after the weekend it saw Californians cramming parks, beaches, and other recreation venues.
