In France, emergency doctors call for calm.

“There, we have three cases in France which are not even serious. It is an epidemic which is under control, we must trust the authorities, we must trust the WHO (World Health Organization)”, he added.
For his part, Dr. François Braun, president of Samu-urgences de France, indicated that “for the moment”, there was no “not a peak call, no panic. “
“If it were to be a crisis that lasts, beyond a week, 10 days, we will pass within the framework of exceptional situations, with more significant mobilizations of personnel in particular”, he explained. “This was what was done during the H1N1 flu”, an acute respiratory illness that started in 2009.
“We are not at all in this field, far from it”, put the doctor into perspective, explaining that in France, the “organizational plans in the event of epidemic risk are well established”.
