Stop the activity of gyms, swimming pools and game rooms and advance the closing time for the catering sector. These are the two main interventions to curb the increase in infections which were discussed this morning in the meeting between Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, and the heads of delegation of the majority. This is what a draft of the Dpcm provides, the text is not definitive, there may still be substantial changes
The advance of the closure of the premises, it is still learned, however, would not lead to an advance of the curfew in terms of driving ban. During the meeting there was also talk of the possible reinstatement of the ban on travel between Regions but it has not yet been decided whether the measure will enter the decree or not.

The new anti-Covid measures will come into force on Sunday 25 October. The text, on the other hand, does not identify the time frame for which the measures will be valid. In fact, in the draft, the month of “November” is indicated but the day is not marked. The possible stop at restaurants and bars after 18 will start from Monday 26 October.
Restaurants and bars closed from 6pm and all Sunday
Starting from October 26, 2020, the activities of the catering services (including bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pastry shops) are suspended on Sundays and public holidays; on the other days the aforementioned activities are allowed from 5.00 am to 6.00 pm; consumption at the table is allowed for a maximum of four people per table, unless they are all living together; after 18.00 it is forbidden to consume food and drinks in public places and open to the public; catering in hotels and other accommodation facilities is allowed without time limits, limited to its customers; catering with home delivery is always allowed in compliance with the hygienic-sanitary regulations for both packaging and transport activities, as well as catering with take-away up to 24.00, with a ban on consumption on the spot or nearby.
Sports and gyms
Suspension from Sunday or Monday of the activities of gyms, swimming pools, swimming pools, wellness centers, spas, except for the provision of services falling within the essential levels of assistance, as well as cultural centers, social centers and recreational centers. Without prejudice to the suspension of the activities of swimming pools and gyms, basic sports and physical activity in general carried out in public and private sports centers and clubs, are allowed in compliance with the rules of social distancing and without any gathering,
the performance of contact sports, as identified by a provision of the Minister of Sport, is prohibited, except for professional and amateur competitions at national level and in any case in compliance with the protocols issued by the respective national sports federations; basic amateur sports activities, schools and start-up training activities relating to contact sports as well as all competitions, competitions and activities related to contact sports having a playful-amateur character are also suspended
