The hockey players of Litvínov will play the home duel of the 11th round of the extra league with Třinec on Tuesday, September 22, from 5:30 p.m. It was originally supposed to be played on Sunday, October 18. Due to the quarantine of opponents, the North Bohemians enter the season with overtures, because the year will start on Sunday with a match of the 20th round on its own ice against Hradec Králové.

Litvínov was originally to enter the extra league on Thursday on the ice of Vítkovice and welcome Comet Brno in the 2nd round on Sunday. The duel with Vítkovice was postponed on Wednesday due to a possible covidem-19 disease in the Ostravan team, and tests finally showed coronavirus in 17 Vítkovice hockey players and two coaches.
On Friday, for precautionary reasons, Kometa postponed its evening duel of the 1st round with Třinec and Sunday in Litvínov after six players and one member of the implementation team had high fevers at night. Representatives of the whole club have undergone tests for covid-19 and are waiting for the results.

Teams in both the extraleague and the first hockey league use any previously released dates in the quarantine of more opponents to overtake the duels. On the contrary, they can free up deadlines for any necessary overtime.
The clubs must play the postponed matches due to coronavirus in the extraleague within 40 days of the postponement, otherwise the result will be decided by the Sports and Technical Commission of the Czech Ice Hockey Association. If she doesn’t have time to play all the matches in the basic part, the point average in the table can decide. The condition for advancing to the preliminary round and the playoffs is to complete at least half of the matches of the long-term part.
