At the press conference, Matthias Sachse, Unicef Health and Nutrition officer, said that there is a lack of evidence that Covid-19 is transmitted to the baby through breast milk.
This Friday, the Ministry of Health reported that Mexico reached 469 thousand 407 positive cases for Covid-19, an increase of 6 thousand 717 more than on Thursday, as well as 51 thousand 311 deaths.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, until this Saturday, at least 723 thousand 693 deaths from coronavirus have been recorded around the world, with the United States being the country most affected by the virus with 162 thousand 304 deaths, followed by Brazil and Mexico, which add up to the moment 99 thousand 572 and 51 thousand 311 deaths, respectively.
