In Martinique, the regional health agency learned on Wednesday July 29, 2020 at the end of the afternoon, of a positive case of COVID-19 in a young adult. An epidemiological link has been established with the source of contagion identified by the ARS of Guadeloupe.
This young person participated in private parties that took place in the city of Fort-de-France, during the weekend of Saturday 25 to Monday 27 July 2020.
The person is currently in isolation at his home, indicates the prefecture and the regional health agency in a joint statement.
A hundred contacts identified
The contact tracing set up by the ARS, the French health and public health insurance, has already made it possible to identify around a hundred contacts.

The ARS of Martinique and the prefecture ask all the people who are called by the health insurance and ARS teams for their full cooperation.These people who participated in the various festivals must imperatively stay in touch.
