Corona virus: Surveillance not taboo for many Swiss

In the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, two thirds of the Swiss are ready to have their movements monitored using a mobile phone app. The consulting firm Deloitte found out in a survey.

Exactly 64 percent of the working population between the ages of 16 and 64 living in Switzerland would provide their exercise data to track infections, as Deloitte said. The consultancy concludes that the Swiss, who are otherwise very concerned about their privacy, are more open to digital technologies and solutions in times of crisis.
