Markus Söder (CSU), Prime Minister of Bavaria, also summons the “South rail” with Baden-Württemberg. The federal states were on the edge of Germany, but belonged to the economic heart of the Federal Republic. A common and coordinated approach is therefore crucial to make a contribution to “that Germany is doing well.”
Söder also appears to be on the line of Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU). “Carelessness would be bad advice in this situation,” said Bavaria’s Prime Minister. “As long as there is no vaccine, there will be no all-clear.” If there is a vaccine, one must also discuss compulsory vaccination, said Söder.
