After the new Corona virus has become a threat to the whole world about 9 months ago its appearance, all of us are looking forward to knowing what happens every minute, in light of the tremendous development that Covid-19 has brought in our lives.

Within this framework, “Masrawy” provides a daily service that includes displaying everything you want to know about the latest developments in the emerging corona virus, from the emergence of new symptoms or the occurrence of a different mutation, as well as the development of vaccines and drugs, in brief.

Attention … Corona sneaks through children without symptoms

A new American study warned of the ability of children to transmit Corona to others even if they did not show symptoms of Covid 19 disease, according to the “Heavy” website.

According to the study published by the CDC website, research has proven that children under the age of 10 have the ability to transmit the coronavirus in school.

And through a tracking process in some children’s facilities in Utah from April to July, 12 children were detected with the emerging coronavirus, transmitting the infection to 13 others, and then some parents of those children contracted the disease and took them to hospitals.

The study also confirmed that the children who transmitted the infection did not clearly show symptoms of Covid 19 disease, such as high fever or diarrhea and vomiting.

A new drug reduces deaths

According to “thehealthsite”, the Indian pharma company has obtained the approval of the General Controller of Medicines in India, to conduct human trials of a new Covid-19 drug, called “Baladol”.

Palaram, CEO of PNB Vesper Life Science, said about the drug, saying: “This is a very big step for humanity in combating the Coronavirus pandemic, as the drug has shown remarkable results in reducing pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome.”

More effective than dexamethasone

The drug has shown positive results in all preclinical preliminary studies. A phase II trial, which will prove the effectiveness of the drug, will be conducted at Pune Medical College on 40 patients within 60 days.

For Covid-19, the main symptoms are fever, body aches, and pneumonia, and in most cases, deaths are due to cytokine storms and acute respiratory distress syndrome.

In preclinical studies, this drug was shown to reduce fever, body pain, and inflammation, and it also decreased the mortality rate by 80 percent.

Researchers expect much better results in clinical trials than dexamethasone, meaning that the mortality rate can be significantly reduced with the use of Baladol.

The return of Oxford vaccine trials against Corona

The British government has given the green light to the pharmaceutical giant (AstraZeneca) to resume clinical trials of an anti-Coronavirus vaccine.

The company stated – in a statement quoted by Radio France Internationale today, Sunday, excerpts from it – that it is developing this vaccine after a temporary suspension as a result of a volunteer suffering health complications, expressing its hope that the vaccine will be available by the end of this year or early next year.
