But reactions to the resolutions in the corona pandemic were not long in coming. Elisabeth Motschmann (CDU) was more cautious. “Vaccinations and rapid tests give hope. Nevertheless, we are still dragging our way through the lockdown with complicated regulations, ”she said. The only way out of the crisis in the long term is vaccination.
Doris Achelwilm from the left criticized the resolutions because there was still a lack of social security. “Where it matters, short-time work benefits and other aids remain too low, while large corporations increase their returns and dividends.” Achelwilm sharply criticized Health Minister Jens Spahn because “he constantly promises new advances in fighting pandemics, which are then either not at all or very much enter late ”. All of this stirs up further uncertainty among the population. The left has called for a debate on the negotiating line and a government statement.
Bremen’s head of government Andreas Bovenschulte (SPD) considers close coordination between federal states and regions to be necessary in the event of different incidence values with corresponding opening steps in order to avoid unwanted shopping tourism. Lower Saxony’s Prime Minister Stephan Weil (SPD) is fundamentally determined to consider the incidence values nationally and not regionally. “That would make the vote much easier if that would remain the Lower Saxony stance in the future, which is what I’m counting on,” said Bovenschulte on Wednesday evening after the federal-state talks on how to proceed in the corona pandemic.
Also the member of the Bundestag from Bremen Kirsten Kappert-Gonther (Greens) criticize Health Minister Spahn in a tweet. In it, she rated his alleged reluctance to obtain rapid tests as “irresponsible”.
