Corona outbreak in Schwerin nursing home: 48 infected people | NDR.de – news

According to the health department, rapid tests in the nursing home initially indicated ten infected residents. All residents and employees of two living areas of the nursing home were then tested on Tuesday by a mobile team from the Schwerin health department. The results were then available on Wednesday. They showed that the majority of all residents in the two living areas are infected.

You must now remain in quarantine until January 8th. On Wednesday, the health department carried out further tests in nursing homes. Several infected employees had previously been reported in the “Haus am Fernsehturm” and “Im Casino” facilities.
