Nationwide 7-day incidence continues to increase, from 220 to 223.

The incidence increases in 13 of the 16 federal statesand it is also above last week’s level in 13 countries.

In the second half of November, none of the 412 urban and rural districts in Germany had an incidence above 500. This was the first time this year.

Meanwhile, however, the high incidences are spreading especially in the north of the republic slowly again.

Last week on Thursday we were on four circuits with one 500 incidenceWednesday of this week it was eight o’clock and today it is twelve.

Eight of the twelve are inside Lower Saxonywhere is also the district with the highest incidence at national level: der Uelzen district with 814 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days.

For comparison: At the height of the fall surge nearly two months ago, 382 of 412 districts had an incidence greater than 500.
