The Consultation Committee decided on Friday, March 5 to implement a number of relaxations, of which a first series of changes will take effect from tomorrow. The ministerial decree on this has just been published in the Belgian Official Gazette.
SOCIAL
It is again allowed to gather outside with 10 people, children up to and including 12 years old are not included. The distance rules continue to apply to these gatherings.
It is also allowed to sit in the private garden with a maximum of 10 people, even if guests have to step through the house.
A maximum of 50 people, and a maximum of 1 person per 10 square meters, can participate in funerals or cremations, both in a designated area and outside in a cemetery.
ACTIVITIES
Organized activities are allowed for children up to and including 12 years old with a maximum of 10 inside or 25 outside. During sports training, they may be accompanied by one person from the same household.
Organized activities are still allowed for young people up to the age of 18 with a maximum of 10 outside.
PROFESSIONS
Photographers may receive more people at the same time in their premises, for persons from the same household, persons who maintain permanent contact or children up to the age of 12.
Private saunas may open, provided they are used by persons from the same household or persons who maintain permanent contact (Jacuzzis, steam cabins and hammams remain closed).
Hair care services and home food sales have been re-authorized. Door-to-door sales remain prohibited, but an ice cream truck, for example, is allowed to drive around.

The other changes decided by the Consultation Committee and which take effect in phases on a date after March 8, 2021, will only be translated into a new ministerial decision in the course of next week.
