Stuttgart – The corona virus is affecting people’s lives worldwide. Due to the increasing numbers, new measures have now been decided again for the Stuttgart region to contain the spread of the virus.

The virus is also still present in the world’s largest metropolises, such as New York. The Big Apple was hit particularly hard by Covid-19. Since the beginning of the pandemic, over 254,000 people have been infected with the corona virus. That’s about three percent of the city’s residents. Even if the number of new infections every day is falling, people in New York are preparing for a possible second wave.
There is also fear of a second wave in London. That’s why stricter rules now apply in the capital of England. These include a curfew from 10 p.m. and a mask requirement in the city. According to Mayor Sadiq Kahn, a second lockdown is not ruled out either.
In the United Kingdom, the number of new infections is rising sharply anyway, and some regions have already been declared risk areas by the Robert Koch Institute. These include Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, among others.
