On this page you can find out what applies to 2G-Plus, where you can get vaccinated in your district and where tests are carried out. You will also find further important information about Corona in Lower Saxony.

From now on, vaccinated and recovered people must also be tested in almost all areas of public life. This rule is called 2G-Plus for short – and with it, unvaccinated people – as with 2G – are excluded from most activities.
Warning level 2 – these are the rules
- 2G-Plus for indoor events in cultural, sports and leisure facilities, in discos, restaurants, hotels and for body-friendly services such as hairdressers and at Christmas markets
- Certified rapid tests, such as those carried out in pharmacies or test centers, are permitted. Self-tests, for example at the workplace or in a club, must be carried out under supervision and must be confirmed by the inspecting person
- 2G-Plus applies to children and young people under the age of 18 when they visit clubs, discos and shisha bars
- Mainly FFP2 mask compulsory in indoor areas, surgical masks are often no longer sufficient, for children under 14 years of age a simple mouth and nose cover is sufficient, children under 6 years of age do not have to wear a mask
- Contact restrictions for private meetings in indoor areas of up to 15 people if no 2G-Plus proof is available
- Contact restrictions for private outdoor meetings of up to 15 people without 2G
Here you can get vaccinated
Over 70 percent of Lower Saxony are now fully vaccinated, and many are already waiting for their booster vaccination. In the following overview you can find out where vaccinations are available in your district. Important: The data are published by the respective districts, not by NDR.de. The list therefore does not claim to be complete. Due to the delivery problems with vaccines, there may be changes to the offers at short notice. According to the Lower Saxony Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVN), fewer doses arrived in the practices this week than expected. This also applies to Moderna deliveries, as KVN spokesman Detelf Haffke told the NDR in Lower Saxony on Wednesday. The next deliveries are expected on Monday.
Where can I get tested?
With the compulsory test also for convalescent and vaccinated persons, the demand for tests continues to rise. According to the regulation, these must be certified when the 2G-Plus regulation comes into force. So there is no longer a test that was carried out at home. There are currently around 2,000 test sites in Lower Saxony. Some of them – partners of the Corona Warning App – are on a map in the app and in the associated online portal listed. In addition, the districts and urban districts usually offer overviews of vaccination and test centers on their websites.
Attention: The information on the map is constantly updated, so it may not always be complete. Some pharmacies, possibly also drugstores and private providers, also carry out tests for which you will receive appropriate evidence.
