A family of eight in Baden-Württemberg has been shaken by a corona tragedy. They weren’t vaccinated.
It is a family tragedy that took place in Neuenbürg in Baden-Württemberg. Within just a few days, the parents and the eldest son of an extended family die from the effects of Covid-19 disease. Sad: The death drama could probably have been prevented.
The shock at the sudden death runs deep. Within just twelve days, five sisters, four of whom are still minors, lost their two parents and their older brother. All three died as a result of a corona infection, all three were not vaccinated.
Everything happened incredibly quickly. “We couldn’t even say goodbye,” the 39-year-old son regrets. It comes from the deceased father’s first marriage.
Four girls orphaned after the corona death drama
Worst of all, however, the bereavement hits his four younger step-sisters. You are staying with an aunt for the time being. This is not a permanent solution, but the way back to the parental home is currently not an option. “My sisters are so traumatized that they don’t want to step in there,” the 39-year-old explains to the “image“.
But the aunt has children of her own. “I’m afraid that the youth welfare office will say that the living conditions are too bad for them. But I don’t want my sisters to have to go to the home, ”says stepbrother Luciano. He and the eldest daughter in the family now want to apply for custody.
He, too, declares that he has not been vaccinated until recently. After the tragic blow of fate, he has now made up for it immediately. “It was a mistake our family didn’t do this before,” he admits.
Corona drama: First the son died, a little later his parents
The tragedy could possibly have been prevented with a vaccination. At the end of November 2021, the family’s son in Neuenbürg was initially infected. The course of the disease quickly showed severe symptoms, the 30-year-old was breathing poorly and had a high fever. Instead of going to the hospital, he went to sleep and believed he could cure the symptoms.
A few days later he succumbed to the disease.
Father and mother also became seriously ill, and doctors fought for their lives in the intensive care unit. But about ten days after the death of their son, they too die of the consequences of Covid-19. (jv)
