Corona Control Committee: We have put in place a proactive treatment protocol in anticipation of the increase in the number of injuries

Dr. Jehan Al-Assal, Vice President of the Scientific Committee to Combat Coronavirus, said that the country is ready for the second wave of the Coronavirus, through preventive and precautionary measures, explaining that the committee has finalized a pre-emptive protocol if the numbers of Coronavirus infection increase during the winter period.

Al-Assal continued, during a telephone interview, in today’s program, by Sarah Hazem’s presentation, broadcast on DMC, that the Ministry of Health is ready for any possible wave of the Coronavirus, and the health sector is ready for all possibilities to face the effects of the virus.

Yesterday, Friday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 78 recoverers of the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 9,8089 cases until today..

In its daily statement, the Ministry stated that 126 new cases have been recorded that have proven positive in laboratory analyzes of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 11 new cases.
