Cornelia Ninova: Reason prevailed

The social commission in the parliament has accepted that the minimum wage becomes 850 levs. This is what the BSP leader wrote on Facebook Cornelia Ninova.

Reason prevailed. The Committee on Labour, Social and Demographic Policies unanimously accepted in the first reading the BSP’s proposal to raise the minimum wage to 50% of the average. For 2023, this means BGN 850.

I thank all the parliamentary parties for their support. 500,000 working poor will feel our concern for them. Let’s quickly pass the law into second reading. So President Radev’s office, which was against this increase, will have no choice but to implement the decision of the parliament.
