The 24-year-old Audois contested his last road event during the Tour de la Réunion at the end of September, where he won the first stage. He also won the Semi-Nocturne de Mâcon in July. “I’m quite happy. I managed to find a good level for my last season. Got quite a few podiums and some nice places (see his DirectVelo profile). I made the most of it with a nice group of friends“. The former Team Wiggins member has fond memories of his career. “I spent two years there. I have had experiences that few people have had. After attending the Coupe de France cyclo-cross in Nommay as a spectator, Corentin Navarro got back on track in recent weeks at the Côte d’Or Championship and Dijon cross. “It was decided on a whim. I hadn’t done any of them for three years, but it has always been my favorite discipline. I wanted to do it too much for fun. Quentin (Bourg) warmed me up a bit too. And why not prepare a little more seriously for next winter.” For the next two years he will be a mechanic for the N1 team. “I have been interested in mechanics for a long time. I was offered this full time position and I accepted. I am in the process of training to be qualified, to improve myself and to do everything independently”.
