Córdoba CF will start the League by visiting Xerez Deportivo

Córdoba CF will start the season in the new Segunda RFEF with an Andalusian classic: will visit the Chapín stadium to face Xerez Deportivo FC. The first match in El Arcángel will be played by the green and white against Cádiz B, in what will mean the repetition of the last duel they celebrated as a Second B team.

The first day of the calendar, which will be played on the first weekend of September, is made up of the following matches: Tamaraceite-San Fernando, Don Benito-Mensajero, Coria-Antequera, Cádiz B-San Roque de Lepe, Xerez Deportivo FC-Córdoba CF, Vélez Málaga- Cacereño, Ceuta-Villanovense, Pulido San Mateo-Mérida Bakery and Montijo-Las Palmas Atlético.

The start date of the championship will be September 5 and the regular league will conclude on May 15. The playoffs will be May 22-29 at a neutral venue.

The month of October holds two trips to golf courses in the Canary Islands -Tamaraceite on matchday 5 and Mensajero on matchday 7-, both receiving another island club, San Fernando. The San Rafael weekend will host Antequera and end the month visiting the San Roque in Lepe.

The rest of the teams from the second to the fifth will compete in the promotion phase in a venue assigned by the Federation and in two heats: semifinal and final. From that phase, in which 20 teams will intervene, five more promotions will come out.

The fight for permanence will be played between the four teams that finish the regular season in 13th place and have the worst coefficient. This playout will be a single game and the two defeated will be relegated. Meanwhile, the last five of each group will descend to Third RFEF. In addition, between 25 and 28 teams will have the prize of playing the Copa del Rey as early as 2022.
