In Egypt, a country experiencing an economic crisis, multiple sclerosis patients face double hardship in obtaining treatment, not only because of the high price, but also as a result of the lack of awareness of the disease and the seriousness of its symptoms.
The number of people with multiple sclerosis in Egypt reaches about sixty thousand, which is among the highest numbers in the Middle East.
