VDW Pools, the unreliable swimming pool builder from Itegem (Heist-op-den-Berg), was convicted by the court for his failure to perform. The victims who filed a lawsuit together have little hope of recovering anything, because shortly before the verdict he declared bankruptcy. To the astonishment of his creditors, he started a new business in pond and swimming pool construction a day after his conviction under a different company name and can therefore continue to do so.
