After all these years, an easy way has been found for converting your PlayStation 2.
In the era before the internet, converting your PlayStation 2 or other console was booming. By messing with the hardware, you could run the device on games that were on a self-burned disc. Illegal, of course, because those games were often through piracy downloaded.
For the PlayStation 2, there was always a hardware intervention to convert it. Now, more than 20 years after the console’s release, a much simpler method has been discovered. You could almost say mustard after the meal. But maybe that’s a good thing. Because game developers miss out on sales when Jan and everyone else spell illegal downloading.
The PlayStation 2 conversion method was discovered by software engineer CTurt. With a self-written homebrew application, the DVD player in the PlayStation 2 can be fooled. CTurt thinks other consoles are being fooled this way too. In the current era, however, it is of little use to you. Many games require you to be online. This does not work with illegal games. It is remarkable that after all these years, a method for converting a PlayStation 2 has emerged.
