The incident occurred at Sadettin Batmazoğlu Primary School in Göllüce Mahallesi at noon yesterday. Hatice K., who started to work as a contract teacher at the school about 15 days ago, was slapped by a parent who slapped students in the classroom. In the images taken, it was seen that Hatice K. hit her students’ face and pulled her ear by laying on the floor. Upon the complaint made to the principal, Hatice K. was sent from the school. It was learned that the teacher told the school administration that he was using violence because he was very naughty to the children.
Veli Omer Yilmaz, who stated that his children were educated at school, said, “I have been in this neighborhood for about thirty years. All 3 children are studying at this school. I have heard the incident and I am very sorry. Our parents and school principals are also very good intentions. The teacher has just arrived. Veli İsmail Güneş, who reacted to the incident and stated that he wanted what should be done, said, “It was not nice to have violence. I also studied at this school for 8 years. I graduated. We were very pleased with both our teachers and our principals. But I condemn the event yesterday. “We want the National Education Directorate to do what it takes. They have expelled the teacher from the school. We send our children to school safely. We deliver them to them. But if the teachers apply violence to the children, we cannot expect a healthy future from them.”
