The incident was said to have occurred in Sonepur District, with the victim being identified as Gupteswari Sahu.
It all started when Rosy, Gupteswari’s nickname, married a man named Bisikesan in Tetelgaon Village, Friday (5/3/2021).
The wedding ceremony then enters into a bidaai ritual, or moment the bride goodbye to his family.
During the ritual, Rosy, who continued to cry, reportedly began collapsing and collapsing in front of her extended family.
Rosy’s family gave first aid by massaging his hands, and tried to revive him through the splash of water.
When that failed, he was rushed to the Dunguripali Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
As reported India Today Saturday (6/3/2021), based on the results of the examination, Rosy died of a heart attack.
One of the residents of Julunda Village, Rosy’s hometown said that the victim had been depressed since the death of her father.
Wedding Rosy is reportedly taken care of by an uncle from the mother’s side and a number of social workers.
