Conte almost had a heart attack, fearing that the Spurs goals would be canceled again by the VAR

Bournemouth

Antonio Conte really nervous when Tottenham Hotspur won in recovery time. Because he is afraid of being disqualified WAS still.

Tottenham visit Vitality Stadium on Saturday (29/10/2022) WIB night, against Bournemouth. Unfortunately they got off to a bad start when they were two goals down.

It was Kieffer Moore’s two goals that worried Tottenham that their recent nightmare would continue. Tottenham then moved up to equalize the score with Ryan Sessegnon and Ben Davies.

Tottenham who were trying to score all three points finally got a goal in the 92nd minute! Rodrigo Bentancur made sure the score was 3-2 for the guests’ victory.

When the goal was scored, the Tottenham players celebrated the goal with joy, but not with Conte who instead slipped down the court and with his back to the pitch.

A few moments later Conte celebrated on the sidelines with the players. Investigating a calibration, Conte apparently did not want to celebrate it excessively.

He fears that Bentancur’s goal was canceled by VAR, as well as Harry Kane’s goal against Sporting in the Champions League. Conte, who had just celebrated a goal, had to be disappointed because it was canceled and ended up being a red card after throwing tantrums at the referee.

“I came back when the goal was awarded. I thought I might have a heart attack because in two days there are two goals and they are all canceled. I then went into the corridor and calmed down, waiting for the referee’s decision,” He he said. Antonio Conte from BBC Sport.

“But it’s definitely nice to see the spirit of the players and their reaction. I’m also happy with their tenacity on the pitch because I see the spirit of the players to win,” continued Conte.

“Also when we were 2-2, we just thought we’d be back to play soon. The reaction was very positive and that’s what I want from the players.”
