In order for the termination of the online contract to be possible, the professional must make available to the consumer a free, permanent, direct and easily accessible functionality allowing him to notify this termination. This functionality will be called “cancel your contract”, a similar formula can also be used.
Once he has received the notification of termination, the trader must inform the consumer. He will then inform him, within a reasonable time, of the date on which the contract will end and the effects of the termination.
To note : any breach by the professional of his obligations will be sanctioned by an administrative fine of a maximum amount of €15,000 for a natural person and a maximum of €75,000 for a legal entity.
