The set-up should be completed by next Saturday, in the two weeks after that light, sound, video, hydraulics and stage technology will be set up so that the actors can also rehearse on the cathedral square.

For the first time, 180 “fair weather cards” were issued
There is space for 1,180 spectators in the grandstand in front of the cathedral – subject to the safety distances. In the Great Festival Hall, where everyone is played in bad weather, there is less space for 180 people. Holders of such “fair weather cards”, who will then receive their entrance fee back, insure the Salzburg Festival.
For the 100th anniversary of the 2020 Festival, everyone is on the schedule 14 times. The staging by Michael Sturminger will premiere this year on August 1st.
