Conicyt promotes calls for the Mobile Applications Youth Contest and the Nicaraguan Astronomy Olympiad

The Nicaraguan Council of Science and Technology (Conicyt) informs that it keeps open the calls for participation in the Youth Mobile Applications Contest and the second edition of the Nicaraguan Astronomy Olympiad.

Luis Antonio Reyes, Head of Disclosure of the Conicyt, indicated that the first contest is intended to promote youth development of mobile applications that are aimed at solving problems or needs of society.

Young people can develop different applications as well as their creativity and ingenuity.

Reyes mentioned that the contest covers various topics such as health, entertainment, education, tourism, SMEs, social inclusion and has two categories: Advanced and Hobbyist.

Participants must be between the ages of 14 and 30, be developing mobile applications and that the application they develop does not violate any copyright. They can present them individually or in groups.

Nicaraguan Astronomy Olympiad Contest
