Congratulations on Leadership Appointments in UAE from Al-Sisi to Mohammed bin Zayed

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates, on the new leadership appointments in the UAE, according to what the Egyptian presidency said in a statement on its Facebook page.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said, “President Sisi congratulated his brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, on the new leadership appointments he made in the UAE,” according to the statement.

The spokesman added, “President Al-Sisi expressed his sincere wishes that this step enhance the UAE’s march towards more prosperity, progress and prosperity for its brotherly people, under the wise leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the UAE.”

The statement indicated that “Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his appreciation for the generous fraternal gesture from President Sisi, expressing the sincere wishes of the UAE leadership and people for continued security, stability and prosperity for Egypt.”

On Wednesday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, in his capacity as ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, issued an Emiri decree appointing his son, Sheikh Khalid, as crown prince in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In his capacity as the ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed also issued two decrees appointing Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed as deputy rulers of Abu Dhabi.

Mohammed bin Zayed, with the approval of the Federal Supreme Council, also issued a decision appointing Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, as Vice President of the State, along with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
