Confused man shot by police and deceased

In Amsterdam New West, the police on Thursday afternoon shot a man who displayed confused behavior and threatened to harm himself with a knife. The victim, a 23-year-old man of German nationality, died of his injuries. Which the police announced.

The police tried to address the man but he did not respond. With a knife to his throat, he approached the police, who warned him not to do this. A cop with a dog hits him in the head from behind, after which the other officers try to arrest him.
