Last Thursday, officers saw how the confused man walked around with a knife in the area of Honselersdijkstraat. According to police, he threatened to injure himself with the knife. After several warnings, Seewald approached the officers. When the officers wanted to arrest him, according to the police, he stabbed around him. He would have hit a cop in a bulletproof vest.
The images show how the police try to overpower him with a police dog and eventually hear his three shots. The German died almost immediately afterwards, resuscitation was no longer of use.
