[ワシントン 27日 ロイター] – White House National Security Council (NSC) Strategic Communications Coordinator Kirby said Wednesday that the United States is deeply concerned about the exchange of attacks between Israel and the Palestinian Territory of Gaza, urging all parties to do so. said it needed to act immediately to defuse the situation.

Kirby told reporters that he had received reports that at least 10 Palestinians had been killed in the Israeli military’s counterterrorism operation, and he regretted the civilian casualties.

“All parties must move swiftly to defuse the situation and work together to prevent further civilian casualties and improve security in the West Bank,” he said.

Secretary of State Brinken will travel to the Middle East from May 29-31. Kirby said Brinken will discuss a range of issues, including the need to de-escalate the West Bank.
