The notice of the well-known chain was also spread from Ministry of Health on your portal. But what caused the withdrawal of the chocolate? There seems to be a risk that hard plastic fragments have ended up in the bars.

In particular, Conad chocolate is part of the products at risk Fondente Black 72% Cocoa Extra Dark Chocolate, these are 100g tablets sold under the code EAN 8003170023710.

The chocolate, sold under the Conad brand, is produced by the company Chocolats Halba Division of Coop at the Salinenstrasse plant in Pratteln, Switzerland.

In particular, the lots affected by the recall are two: the numbers L1330004 E l1238941, whose minimum conservation term is dated 30 October 2021.

In a specific section of the Ministry of Health website, notices of recall of products removed from the market by operators are reported in a short time, so as to safeguard the health of consumers.

The reports are accompanied by a detailed sheet that contains the reason for the withdrawal, the identification codes of the product and any other data useful for identifying the goods.

Then indicating the reason why it was decided to withdraw that product from the market: from the identification of a bacterium, such as listera or salmonella, or to the presence of lactose in a product that should not contain it and so on.
