When returning from countries with a low (green) and medium risk of coronavirus infection (orange), people returning to the Czech Republic must complete an arrival form. Before entering the territory of the Czech Republic or no later than five days after entry, there is an obligation to undergo an antigen or RT-PCR test, states the Ministry of Health.
When returning from countries with a high risk of infection (red) and very high risk of infection (dark red), people must fill in an arrival form before returning to the Czech Republic and at the same time undergo an antigen or PCR test before returning if they use public transport to return.

These persons are also obliged to undergo a PCR test after returning to the Czech Republic, no earlier than the fifth day and no later than the 14th day after entering the Czech Republic. Until then, it is necessary to remain in self-insulation. In the case of a trip to the Czech Republic by individual transport, it is not necessary to have a test before the start of the trip, but it is obligatory to undergo a PCR test no earlier than the fifth day and no later than the fourteenth day. Before the result, people must remain self-insulating. This now applies to France, Denmark and Andorra.
Testing and self-isolation do not apply to people who have had covid-19 for at least 14 days since the last vaccine dose or who have had covid-19 in the last 180 days. All that remains is the obligation to fill in the arrival form.
When returning from countries at extreme risk of danger, people who have at least 14 days after full vaccination or those who have had covid-19 in the last 180 days are required to complete an Arrival Form, but do not need to undergo testing and self-isolation. For others, it is necessary to undergo a PCR test before traveling to the Czech Republic and then remain in self-isolation for 10 days, ending in a negative PCR test. You can find a complete list of rules for returning to the Czech Republic on the portal Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
