JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Novel Baswedan along with 43 other former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have been officially appointed as the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the National Police, Thursday (9/12/2021).
So, what is the comparison of the salaries of Novel Baswedan et al while serving at the KPK and now being a National Police ASN?
After becoming an ASN within the Police, Novel Baswedan Cs’ salary will be adjusted according to the class when they were still serving in the anti-racism agency.
This adjustment is intended so that no party is harmed in the appointment of Novel Baswedan et al to become ASN.
“When he belongs to a certain group at the KPK, then in the police as ASN as ASN Polri he will be the same class, so he is not harmed,” said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono to reporters, Friday (10/12/2021).

The salary of the National Police ASN itself, as quoted from puskeu.polri.go.id, still refers to Government Regulation (PP) Number 15 of 2019 concerning the Eighteenth Amendment to PP Number 7 of 1977 concerning the Regulation of Civil Servant Salaries (PNS).
In the attachment regarding the salary rules for the National Police ASN, the basic salary of the National Police ASN for class I is set at Rp. 1,560,800 per month to Rp. 2,686,500 per month.
The salary of ASN Polri class II is IDR 2,022,200 per month to IDR 3,820,000 per month.
For group III, amounting to Rp2,579,400 per month to Rp4,797,000 per month.
