Comparing the Length of Indonesian Toll Roads with China and Malaysia All

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Regulatory Agency Toll road (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) noted, long toll road in Indonesia has reached 2,500 kilometers as of June 2022.

This stretch is divided into 66 roads tol on the islands of Java, Bali, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.

This information was conveyed by the Head of BPJT, Ministry of PUPR Danang Parikesit.

“Until June 2022, the total operation of a number of toll roads in Indonesia has reached 2,500 kilometers,” said Danang.

The total length is the accumulation of toll roads that were completed and operated in the period 1978-2014 along the kilometer.

Then, the 2015-2019 period is 1,298 kilometers long, in 2020 it is 246 kilometers, in 2021 it is 122 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the realization of the toll road length in 2022 has only reached 42.98 kilometers.

If the length of toll roads operating in Indonesia reaches 2,500 kilometers, what about China and Malaysia?

The length of toll roads in China reached 200,000 kilometers by the end of 2019, this includes those managed by the local government.

In fact, the long stretch of the toll road beats the superpower of the United States (US) of 98,000 kilometers.
