Commemorating AIDS Day, RSU Haji Surabaya Urges Not to Give Stigma

DIRECTIONS – General Hospital (MSW) Hajj Surabaya commemorate World AIDS Day which falls on December 1, 2021.

In this reminder, MSW Hajj Surabaya appealed to the public not to stigmatize people with HIV AIDS (PLWHA), but they need support from their relatives and environment to stay healthy and productive.

The purpose of commemorating World AIDS Day by MSW This Hajj is that there is a society that needs to be kept away from stigma HIV AIDS.

This was conveyed directly by the President Director MSW Haji Herlin Ferliana.

“And we try to keep our descendants from getting infected, if they say their children are infected, we have to take care of them,” he said, quoted by Directions, Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Furthermore, he said, there are several things that must be taken care of together to save the community from the spread of AIDS.

Namely, the first thing to be taken care of is healthy people so they don’t get infected. In order to stay healthy and not infected with the HIV virus, it is necessary to provide counseling.
