Landover, MD – Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels will miss Sunday’s crucial matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a left knee injury, marking his first absence as entering the NFL last season. Head Coach Dan Quinn confirmed the decision Friday, emphasizing a cautious approach to the rookie’s recovery.
“He wasn’t quite there yet,” Quinn stated. “We’re going to be smart about this. Jayden wants to do everything, all the time – that’s just his competitive nature, and I love it. But we need to be vigilant.”
