Comes via WhatsApp and Co .: Nasty message causes smartphones to crash

Apple users are currently victims of a text message that is received on iPhones and iPads to crash brings. –

The message contains characters in the Sindhi language, in the middle of which there is usually an Italian emoji flag. However, some users report a similar message with a different emoji flag (see Twitter post below), which also causes their devices to crash.

It also happens that the smartphone or tablet does not simply go out after receiving the message, but no longer reacts to the touch input.

So far, where the message comes from is unclear. It is believed that the text was originally from a chat group of the messenger service Telegram come.
