FC Flyeralarm Admira has hired Ernst Baumeister as the new sports director. The 63-year-old will start his new job today.
“I didn’t hesitate for a second when I received the Admira offer. Everyone knows how much Admira means to me. We have a Herculean task ahead of us. There is no time to waste, we have to start immediately. Action must now follow, ”Baumeister tackles his task with zest for action.
For Baumeister it is the fourth return to Südstadt after 1987 (as a player), 2005 (as a trainer) and 2015 (as a trainer and sports director). “There is no question that my fourth mission in the southern part of the city is one of my most difficult tasks. The only thing that counts for us is relegation. Everyone has to be aware of that. I expect every Admiran to give everything for his club, ”Baumeister demands.
Baumeister already has a clear demand on the team for tomorrow’s game at SKN St. Pölten. “I expect a reaction, unconditional commitment and passion until the last minute. I want to see the awareness that everyone on the court really does everything for our Admira! ”
Born in Vienna, he has a long-term contract with FC Flyeralarm Admira and would like to thank his previous club SV Stripfing for accommodating the short-term termination of the contract yesterday evening – especially with President Hannes Riedmüller.
