There is hardly a title that Arjen Robben has not won in his career. The Dutchman ended his career a year ago, but always kept fit at Bayern. Robben is now making his comeback – but not in Munich.

FC Groningen announced the signing of Arjen Robben on Saturday evening with a video. The 36-year-old is returning to his youth club, which he left for Eindhoven in 2002. At PSV, Robben made the breakthrough in his career, which was to lead him to the world’s largest clubs.
Most recently Robben had let through that he was aiming for a comeback. “You never know. I don’t want to say yes or no now, ”the far right said in an interview Sport1. Now it is clear: Robben will play for Groningen in the Eredivisie in the future. “The club can use any help during this time to overcome the corona crisis,” said Robben in a club announcement and further: “I still do not know whether this will work. What I do know is that it doesn’t depend on my commitment and motivation. It is now my dream to play in the FC Groningen jersey again. ”
