> THE ESSENTIAL
Colomiers concludes the sporting year as he has often done this season. The taking of a single small point does not satisfy anyone but has yet again highlighted the fragility of a group which does not manage to free itself. Certainly force-fed during the last exercises by a training which regaled with its means, when there is a little less well, things are linked quickly in a complicated spiral. What worked turns around in a difficult situation, such as this post that refuses to let the ball hit by Quenet at the back of the net, these two class saves by the visiting goalkeeper on strikes from Cardinali, then from Métayer, these decisions from the referee from Paris who grants a generous penalty but seems to forget one for the locals. However, we can not blame much Columérins who tried everything in vain, but who left nothing in the way of intentions, will and desire.
> MEN
In Colomiers, we were able to appreciate the great activity of Pierre Legrand. In the other hallway, Laurens made his counterpart dizzy. Brunerol is a last bulwark of great quality and more than a foil.
The Mons keeper certainly avoided another defeat for his own. Nana Gassa alternated between good and bad, but it weighed heavily.
> THEY SAID
Patrice Maurel (Colomiers coach): “Success eludes us a bit. We create opportunities. You have to be able to look ahead, to rise up.”
Christophe Lopes (coach of Mont-de-Marsan): “I’m very happy for the boys because any penalty deserves reward. Over the whole game, it’s pretty well deserved.”
