The economic reactivation is underway and proof of this is the realization in Puerto Rico of the second version of the ShowRoom of construction materials, organized by ProColombia, a promotion entity in charge of promoting the exports of Colombian companies.

This trade agreement between the two countries completes, in May 2022, ten years of implementation and, among its benefits, it allows the importation of construction materials with zero tariffs.

“Additionally, the proximity, direct air and sea routes and language facilities are, among others, great competitive advantages when it comes to doing good business,” added Santoro.

During this face-to-face ShowRoom organized by ProColombia in the Caribbean, the official launch of a digital platform that brings together the Colombian offer of construction services, goods and materials will take place.

“This Tuesday, October 19, we will present to Puerto Rican entrepreneurs our virtual tool ‘Building Origins Colombia’, a 360º digital platform, which will allow, in an innovative way, to interact, experiment and discover the Colombian offer. A space to design your real estate projects ”, announced Enrique Stellabatti, director of ProColombia for the Caribbean.

“It is an opportunity to generate good business, taking into account that the construction sector is one of the main drivers of the economy, employment and development, which are so necessary at the moment,” said Stellabatti.
