The country received this Thursday 1,983,700 vaccines against Covid-19 from the Moderna laboratory, which are part of the acquisition that was made to ensure the availability of the biological in 2022.
This was stated by Germán Escobar, Vice Minister of Public Health and Provision of Services, stressing that the country continues to maintain full availability of vaccines against the virus, both in the central warehouse of the Ministry of Health and in all territorial entities.

“Let us remember that at this moment, that we have an increase in cases, fortunately without great severity, it is very important to maintain immunity through vaccination,” explained Vice Minister Escobar, who called attention to those who do not complete their schemes.
Escobar explained that Colombia has received a total of 102,158,554 doses of vaccines against covid-19, from all laboratories and through all mechanisms, including 2.1 million purchased by the private sector.
Likewise, he pointed out that 17,354,880 arrived through the Covax mechanism; 18,690,550, via donations; 2,100,000, from the private sector, and 64,013,124, acquired by bilateral negotiation.
