Colombia registered this Thursday 204 deaths from Covid-19, the lowest daily death toll in a month, with which the accumulated number of fatalities from the pandemic in the country stood at 16,183, according to the daily report of the Ministry of Health.
The country It did not show such a low death toll since last July 20 when it reported 193 deaths, added the health authority, according to which among the 204 deaths computed today there are 23 corresponding to June and July.
Likewise, 11,541 new infections were reported, bringing the total number of positive cases to 513,719, of which 157,391, corresponding to 30.64%, are still active. Of these, 165 were in Barranquilla and 98 in Atlántico.
In the department of Atlántico, the registered deaths are once again in one digit: Eight; two in Barranquilla, three in Soledad, two in Santa Lucía and one in Baranoa.
Since the first case of coronavirus was registered in the country, last March 6, 339,124 patients have overcome the disease, which is equivalent to 66%. The Active cases in the country reach 157,391.
