The guest teams faced an away win twice in the four Tuesday games of the German Ice Hockey League. But neither the Schwenninger Wild Wings, who led 3-1 in Cologne, nor the Straubing Tigers, who were 4-2 ahead in Berlin, could bring the whole thing to the finish. After all, the Wild Wings managed to win a point.
The 5-2 victories of the Grizzlys Wolfsburg in Krefeld and the ERC Ingolstadt against the Augsburg Panthers were clearer.
