The Cologne cabaret artist Meltem Kaptan is baking again! In the new VOX show: “Very first cream – Who bakes the best?”, The 40-year-old gets to work from Monday (April 12) and takes on the role of commentator on the show.

“Back competitors” compete against each other on TV for five days. Every day, one candidate presents the personal masterpiece that the other four candidates have to bake as best as possible without a recipe. Meltem Kaptan is the presenter and comments on the TV show from the bakery.

“The audience can look forward to a fresh, cheeky, colorful and delicious baking show that has some surprises in store,” says Kaptan happily.
“Because: We bake completely without a recipe and anyone who has tried it knows that it is crazy. For example, I once tried to bake a yeast plait without a recipe. In the end it looked like a flattened earthworm. So: respect to our candidates, they really dare to do something! “

The baking results are then tasted and rated by an expert, the baker of the day, but also by Cologne comedy queen Meltem Kaptan. It decides: who has best suited the taste? The winner receives prize money of 2,500 euros.
For the Cologne cabaret artist, the subject of baking on TV is not entirely new. The 40-year-old has already baked at the side of the well-known TV presenter Enie van de Meiklokjes. Last year she was a guest at “Sweet & Easy – Enie backt”.
