That the Andromeda galaxy and our Milky Way galaxy sooner or later have to collide is a fact, as their forces of gravity are attracting each other. Scientists predicted this collision in about 4-5 billion years.
In reality the collision is happening right now.
According to a study published last August 27 in “the astrofisycal Jornal”, the outermost parts of the two galaxies have already collided.
In about 4.5 billion years, the two galaxies will join together to form a supergalaxy.
